River Yealm Mooring Services have bespoke craft and heavy plant that can lift mooring base blocks and their associated components in entirety to alternative locations. Primarily we use our 30' Ferro Cement lifting specific barge "Yellow 1" crewed by a team of 3, for smaller weights our general workboat "Yellow 2" can be utilised.

 

This is not an operation undertaken lightly due to the logistics, danger and equipment involved. All lifting operations are risk assessed appropriately and carried in compliance with LOLER Regs 1998. 

 

All block movements are coordinated and discussed with the River Yealm Harbour Master before being undertaken.
